On blogging

I typically assume that, if an idea is good, it is worth expanding into a conference paper, journal article, or book. That is, I don't often write things that don't provide a pretty obvious, tangible benefit to me -- either financially or in the sense that they move my career forward. That being the case, do not expect frequent blogging from me.

That being said, this is where I will post general updates, links to worthwhile books and articles I am reading, and general musings.
