Some new commentary from me on the election

My publisher for Right-Wing Critics, the University Press of Kansas, asked me to provide a short piece on the 2016 election and how it relates to the conservative movement. Here is what I sent them.

My comments shouldn't surprise anyone who is at all familiar with my work on these subjects, but I thought it came out pretty well.
