Another period of infrequent blogging

I haven't added much new content here lately, and what has gone up was primarily links to my commentary elsewhere quotes I've given to the media. I'm not burned out on blogging, but I am rather pressed for time right now. I am in the process of (I hope) moving two different book manuscripts through the publishing process. I will say more about these projects when/if they succesfully and officially change their status from "under review" to "in press." Beyond that, I have some big presentations to prepare. All of this is on top of my normal teaching schedule.

There are many more things I want to discuss here, but there are only so many hours in a day, and for the next few months (possibly less, we'll see), the blog is the most logical thing to remove from my to-do list.
